Brainbase Brought the Big Licensing Energy to BLE!
It’s hard to believe it had been two years since there last was an in-person licensing show. Two years of Zoom meetings, being stuck working at home, and trying to make the most of virtual conferences has certainly taken its toll, so Brand Licensing Europe 2021 was a major moment we had all been waiting for in the licensing industry.
Reconnecting with the licensing industry IRL
When our team stepped into the ExCel Conference Center in London for Day 1 of the conference, the energy was electric, especially for 9 in the morning. We were lucky to be sharing a booth with two of our amazing partners, Moomin and Rights & Brands. Kudos to their teams for helping design the most beautiful booth - it almost felt like we were working out of a piece of art all week!
The feeling of meeting so many new faces in-person, and meeting Zoom acquaintances for the first time in real life, was exhilarating. From prospective and current customers to our friends in the media who have so graciously covered all our announcements, the matchmaking and much needed face-time at BLE was a breath of fresh London air.
What We Learned at Brand Licensing Europe 2021
Highlights for our team included the character parades (peep the photos below), happy hours, and unscheduled after-hours celebrations with our licensing friends. We got to show off our amazing platform and some new features as well (everyone loved our custom dashboards)! We learned that despite the technological advances of the past year and the remote work environment we’ve all been forced to adapt to, many companies are still managing their licensing business manually. Our platform is needed by licensors, licensees and agents now more than ever, especially with the digitization of our economy and licensing deals.
